Admittedly, Glendale isn't the first to come to mind when we think of a foodie-faved 'hood — however, we're now reconsidering given the fact that it scored Shake Shack's second LA outpost. On that note, the Jewel City is rounding up a handful of LA grub faves this month for its inaugural Brand Boulevard Block Party, conveniently across the street from shopping haunt Americana.
Happening Saturday, October 22nd from 5 to 8pm on Brand Boulevard (duh) between Colorado Street and Caruso Avenue, the food fest promises bites from the aforementioned East Coast burger chain alongside Mainland Poke, Lobos Truck, Lemonade, Coolhaus, Porto's Bakery, and more. Festgoers will also enjoy drinks from Golden Road Brewery and live music from throwback tribute band Wayward Sons; plus, a portion of ticket sales benefit Careers through the Culinary Art Program.
