If Classpass' latest fee hikes have your debit card sweating, meet OpenSweat. Officially launched as of today, the new LA-based startup is for freewheeling fitness fiends looking to ditch the membership model and book workout classes at the last minute.

Currently available on iOS, the app allows users to browse LA studios (like Pure Barre, Pop Physique, YAS Fitness Centers, and AIR Aerial Yoga, Platefit to name a few) and nab open seats or book sweat sessions in advance. The app also makes it a cinch for athletic Angelenos to break a sweat on their own schedule: the platform allows users to set notifications for class availability on the dates and times of their choice.

Plus, there's no need to purchase packages, and users can buy single classes at any time for up to 50% off.
