Abbot Kinney’s beauty scene is about to experience a British invasion. Target mainstay Pixi is opening its first-ever U.S. flagship on the Venice shopping stretch, and it’s set to arrive next Friday, January 20.
As seen above, the brand’s affordable makeup and skincare products are taking over the 1,700-square-foot space formerly occupied by Gant Rugger. Founder and makeup artist Petra Strand recently told Allure that “although we love Target, we need more space for the skincare…We need to be able to educate women about Pixi, and hopefully a lot of new people will discover the brand, too.”
Pixi joins Los Angeles-based luxury beauty line Hourglass Cosmetics, Aussie apothecary Aesop, and French skincare brand Caudalie on Abbot Kinney. It’s known for its blemish-blurring, multi-tasking products “infused with botanicals and beneficial ingredients,” like its Glow Tonic exfoliating toner ($15) and its long-wearing gel eyeliners ($12).
