While everyone will be Palm Springs-bound this Coachella weekend, the desert destination's colorful charm is brightening up Larchmont Village. Perennially summer-ready designer Trina Turk reopened her Los Angeles boutique last week, bringing her signature kaleidoscopic vibes to the stylish shopping stretch.

Previously located on West Third Street, the shop houses the SoCal-based talent's womenswear, accessories, and home goods collections alongside menswear from Mr. Turk, which is designed by her husband, Jonathan Skow. LA-based Turk, who also owns an abode in Palm Springs, is known for infusing her designs with the hot weather playground's midcentury modern-inspired aesthetic.

Those inspirations are evident in her 2,000-square-foot space designed by frequent collaborator and architectural design mastermind Barbara Bestor, who decked out the store in walnut wood paneling, playful scalloped floor tiling, and ivory silk touches.

Trina Turk is open Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 6pm and Friday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm.
