After much anticipation, Westfield Century City is finally unveiling the stylish results of its $1 billion makeover. The renovated lifestyle center toasted its fashionable facelift last week with a starry celebration, complete with performances by DNCE, Fitz & the Tantrums, and the Village People.

In addition to making a major update to its directory, the popular outdoor mall tapped design star Kelly Wearstler to help reimagine its massive digs, which features chic hangout spots (like chessboard-inspired marble seating) dreamed up in the her signature maximalist aesthetic. All in all, Westfield added 442,000 square feet for a total of 1.3 million square feet of retail, restaurant, and entertainment space, which also includes an 18,000-square foot event venue called Atrium alongside private reception spaces throughout the center.

On top of stealing away Westside Pavilion's Nordstrom (which is 149,000 square feet spread across three stories), the lifestyle center also welcomed a new two-story Macy's last fall and revealed its renovated its Bloomingdale's earlier this year. That's not all: dozens of cult-fave labels hailing near and far also joined Westfield CC's roster, including LA's own Current/Elliott, Equipment, and Joie; Canada's Aritzia and Oak + Fort; Paris' Maje, Sandro, and Zadig & Voltaire; London's AllSaints; Australia's Sea Folly; New Zealand's Rodd & Gunn; and so much more. Other noteworthy additions include sleek stationery brand Moleskine, one-for-one eyewear brand Warby Parker, stylish chocolatiers Compartés, Aussie apothecary brand Aesop, natural beauty haven Saje Natural Wellness, and organic cafe Beaming, to name just a few.

Westfield's new directory also features a focus on health and wellness, which includes organic bites, juices, and smoothies from Beaming and Lifehouse; fitness hot spots like Equinox, Gloveworks, and Orangetheory; and more.

Oh, and about that highly-anticipated Eataly: it's expected to open later this month, along with upscale Mexican eatery Javier's first LA outpost, organic Mexican resto Tocaya Organica, Hellenic food haven Petros, and more.

Westfield CC also doubled its parking capacity with a total of 4,700 spaces and made it even more convenient for shoppers to park their rides: visitors can use Westfield's app to take advantage of ticketless smart parking and reserved parking (and if you sign up now, you'll score 50% off parking until the end of the year). Eventually, the mall will also include a Metro Purple Line station. Other amenities include concierge services offering personal styling and shopping, and an Uber Lounge.
