Creatures of Comfort is known for stocking artful garments from some of the most esteemed cult-cool designers, and now, the bicoastal boutique is getting cozy on a different stylish stretch in LA. After making its west coast debut on Melrose Avenue in 2005, the shop has relocated its digs to Sunset Junction in Silver Lake.

Shopkeep Jade Lai took over Reform School's former storefront, transforming the 800-square-foot space into a bright and airy cool-girl haven filled with Creatures of Comfort's own in-house line of ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories. The shop also stocks a range of lingerie, jewelry, and beauty products, including accoutrements from Annie Costello Brown and Leigh Miller; skincare from Odacite, Rodin, and Olio e Osso; and more.

As far as interiors, Lai tapped architect Felicia Martin to create a California-meets-highbrow retail therapy environment, which includes furniture and and neutral wood cabinetry designed by Shinichiro Okuda, brass fixtures, and plenty of indoor greenery.

Creatures of Comfort is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm; (323) 486-7978.
