Hermès' paycheck-busting accoutrements aren't exactly the type of pieces you want to casually throw into your washer/dryer, but here's one instance in which it's actually encouraged in the name of fashion. Now through Saturday, November 19, the French luxury house is popping up at the very bustling Westfield Century City by way of its Hermèsmatic laundromat.

Located in the Atrium on level 1, the luxurious washing station houses machines (in Hermès signature orange hue, no less) that overdye the brand's signature silk scarves in vibrant new hues. Accessory aficionados can dye their own pieces fuchsia pink, denim blue, or violet, resulting in a one-of-a-kind process that takes 48 hours; there's also a collection of dip-dyed scarves ready to take home.

The overdye service is free, while shoppable styles include 36-inch squares ($395), Twilly ($160), and Maxi Twilly ($325) in iconic designs like the Brides de Gala, Mythiques Phoenix, Festival des Amazones, Les Clés, and more. The space also offers a selection of men's ties ($180 and up).

Update 11/14: The pop-up's end date has changed from November 28 to November 19.
