Downtown is becoming quite the hot spot for social media-happy "experiences." Speaking of smile-inducing happenings, the Arts District will soon welcome The Happy Place, an immersive pop-up event that debuts its bright yellow doors next week.

Running from Monday, November 20, 2017 to Sunday, January 7, 2018, the Instagram-worthy space will feature 13 rooms "filled with larger-than-life-size installations, multi-sensory immersive rooms, and dozens of moments curated to 'capture your happy'." Translation? Guests can expect everything from a giant birthday cake (complete with candles to blow out) and a giant rainbow to an oversized pot filled with 25,000 happy face coins ready for lucky attendees to dive into.

Also in the house will be a sweet treat-filled candy room, a California-inspired corner featuring sculptures by iconic artist Steven Harrington, the "world's largest confetti dome," and even a lemonade stand that will donate proceeds to charity. Oh, and there'll even be rainbow grilled cheese (among other creative bites) on The Happy Place's menu, should you need to satisfy your stomach.

Intrigued? General admission is $28.50, while VIP entry for opening day are $199 and include a personal tour guide, swag bag, access to the front of the line and a special VIP lounge, and a pro photog who'll capture your entire experience (saving you the distraction of snapping your own pics); timed tickets are available right now at The Happy Place's website.
