We know we're not the only ones who play an imaginary "womp-womp" sound in our heads whenever we're gifted a random scented candle (it's the thought that counts, right?), but we always make an exception for cult-favorite local brand P.F. Candle Co. Known for its amber jar soy candles, the LA-based company is bringing its people-pleasing home fragrances to Highland Park via a holiday pop-up shop now through December 31.
Landing on buzzing York Boulevard, the boutique stocks the husband-and-wife-owned label's full collection of chic scented candles alongside its new Terra collection, room sprays, incense, reed diffusers, gift sets, and more. Shoppers can also find home goods and natural skincare and body products from friends of the brand; plus, all of the store's stylish potted greenery is also shoppable. Note that the store only takes credit cards.
P.F. Candle Co. Holiday Shop, 5028 York Blvd., L.A., 90042; Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and closed Mondays and Tuesdays; the shop will also be closed on Thanksgiving (Nov. 23) and Black Friday (Nov. 24) and Christmas (Dec. 25). Doors will close early on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24).
