Since opening its first store in then-sleepy Arts District five years ago, Poketo has transformed from a cool home goods and accessories company (anyone remember that charming Target collection?) into a full-fledged lifestyle brand. The design-driven label is now packing up its flagship and relocating to a new space not from from its original address — but first, it's popping up in Little Tokyo and MOCA through the end of the year.

Poketo's Little Tokyo pop-up (374 E. 2nd St.) spans 4,000 square feet, bringing the same design-driven inventory it's become known for: Think artful housewares, clothing, accessories, books, and giftables from independent designers and labels alongside its own line of stationery and desk accoutrements. The shop will also host creative workshops; on weekends, it'll offer a matcha tea cart powered by LA's own Eightfold Coffee.

Over at MOCA (250 S Grand Ave.), Poketo's pop-up shop offers a curated selection of desk accessories, stationery, carrying cases, and two exclusive daily planners designed in collaboration with the modern art museum. They'll be holding court there through January 8, 2018.

About that new Downtown flagship: It's slated to arrive at buzzing lifestyle center ROW DTLA in early 2018. Stay tuned for more details; in the meantime, explore Poketo's gift guide for all of your art-loving family and friends and swing by their shops now through the new year.

Poketo in Little Tokyo is open Monday from 12 to 7pm and Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm; 213-537-0751. MOCA Grand x Poketo is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11am to 6pm, Thursday from 11am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm; closed Tuesday.
