Fulfilling late-night cartoon lovers' fantasies, Adult Swim is taking over cool lifestyle center ROW DTLA next month for its first-ever fest. The inaugural Adult Swim Festival promises unique experiences inspired by the quirky comedy program's best shows and talents alongside some of the most energetic forces in music.

Set to take the stage Friday, October 5 through Sunday, October 7, the three-day event features two stages dedicated to over 40 acts ranging from heavy metal and hip hop to electronic dance and indie rock as well as comedy. The ground-breaking music lineup includes Big Freedia, Run the Jewels, Mastodon, Neko Case, Zola Jesus, Flying Lotus and many others, while stand-up comedians on the bill include Hannibal Burress, Jena Friedman, Jo Firestone, Joe Pera, and more.

To kick off the weekend, fans can purchase the preview pass for Friday, which includes a first look at all of the installations, games, and Adult Swim merchandise. Preview attendees can also enjoy the comedic and musical performances of Open Mic Eagle and T-Pain, who will be performing hits from "Freaknik: The Musical."

Closing the weekend is the highly anticipated Rick and Morty Musical Ricksperience, the first-ever live performance of music from the comedic sci-fi animated series Rick and Morty. Ryan Elder, the composer behind the hit show, will be collaborating with special guests to perform songs featuring a live 37-piece orchestra.

When attendees need a break from laughing and raging too hard, they can also participate in the many Adult Swim-themed attractions, including a mechanical hot dog ride, a virtual reality adventure, and a Rick and Morty-inspired mini golf course. Of course, there'll be plenty of food: Expect local vendors and trucks to be serving festgoers all weekend.

Into it? Admission starts at $49 for the Friday Preview Pass, single day passes are $85, and weekend passes are $225 (note that there are additional fees). Get more deets on the full schedule, parking, and rules (heads up, only clear bags and small purses are allowed inside) and buy tickets online at Adult Swim Festival's website, then get hyped by listening to the music and comedy fest's Spotify playlist.
